We’re happy to announce that WordCamp Nordic will host a WordPress workshop for kids during Contributor day on Thursday, March 7 at A Grid<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop is for kids between the ages of 8 and 14. They will have the opportunity to create their own website using WordPress. In three hours with the help of volunteers, the kids will learn how to set up a website, choose a theme, and create different content types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the instructor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The workshop will be lead by Petya Raykovska – a long time WordPress contributor and Global Allocation Manager at Human Made. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Petya<\/a> has been working with WordPress for more than 10 years and has experience in both managing and creating websites, and working with different types of first-time users. She started leading workshops for children around the world in 2016 and has helped organize the event in Thailand, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, the UK, Croatia, Zimbabwe, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
