Volunteering is a great way to contribute to WordPress and to get an inside view in case you are considering organising a similar event in the future. So would you like to help organise WordCamp Nordic 2019? The Call for Volunteers will open Monday, 17 December.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are some of the volunteer roles:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Registration: check in the attendees;<\/li><li>Swag station: hand out the swag to the attendees;<\/li><li>Photography: take photographs of the event;<\/li><li>Time keeping: inform the speakers about their remaining time at their talk;<\/li><li>Welcome attendees: welcome the attendees to the venue, answer their questions, and guide them in the venue;<\/li><li>Mic runner: give the microphone to the audience during the sessions Q&amp;A;<\/li><li>Room monitor: ensure the room isn&#8217;t overcrowded, and prevent unnecessary noise of attendees entering and leaving the room.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a volunteer, you will receive a free ticket, an exclusive t-shirt for volunteers, and an invitation to the volunteers dinner.
